Beth St. Romain

Background:

Beth's areas of expertise are in back care and relaxation techniques.  Her own history of back pain and migraines led her to the practice of yoga, and she has experienced a great deal of personal healing from the practice of Viniyoga.  Her classes center around the power of the breath, mindful movement, and letting go of the ego.  She enjoys working one-to-one with clients to assess their range of motion and chronic movement patterns before working with them in a group.  Her group classes can be either gentle or challenging, depending on the level of the group.

Approach:

Beth’s approach to teaching is based on her dedication to keeping the spine safe and healthy.  She encourages students to let go of the ego and practice with wisdom and attention to the spine and the breath.  She also emphasizes all aspects of the individual, not just the physical.  She encourages a non-competitive atmosphere and the creation of new patterns in all areas of life.
